Milli Eğitim Bakanlığının 2024-2025 Eğitim Öğretim Yılına dair yayımladığı genelgede, Bakanlık tarafından ücretsiz dağıtımı yapılan kaynaklar dışındaki materyallerin okullarda reklam ve tanıtımının yapılmaması, öğrencilere aldırılmaması ve velilere maddi külfet oluşturacak uygulamalardan kaçınılması gerektiği belirtilmiştir.
Bu yasak, MEB'in Ders Kitapları ve Eğitim Araçları Yönetmeliği'nin 32'nci maddesine dayanmaktadır ve Bakanlık tarafından onaylanmamış yardımcı kitapların okullarda kullanılmasını engellemeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Ancak, bazı okullarda bu yasağa rağmen öğretmenlerin ek kaynak materyaller önerdiği veya kullandığına dair şikayetler olduğu görülmektedir. Bu durum, MEB'in denetim ve uygulama süreçlerinde bazı aksaklıklar olabileceğini göstermektedir.
MEB tarafından ücretsiz dağıtımı yapılan kaynaklar dışındaki materyallerin, okullarda kullandırılmaması, velilere maddi külfet oluşturacak bu tür uygulamalardan kaçınılması, bu konuda il genelinde okullarda yönlendirme, reklam ve tanıtım organizasyonlarının yapılmaması için gerekli önlemler valiliklerce alınacak.
